UCT has a rapidly expanding joint degree programme to connect our postgraduates with opportunities to work in partnership with universities based overseas. These offer the opportunity to gain valuable international exposure and experience.

• Jointly awarded degrees entail equal involvement and investment from both/all participating institutions (e.g., each institution will examine the work involved and postgraduates are required to spend equal amounts of time at each institution).
• Co-badged degrees require 50% or more of the work conducted by the postgraduate to be done at UCT.

Note: In both instances a single degree is issued. UCT does not offer double degrees.
